My love for Amarula began near a Marula tree while on night safari at the Londolozi game preserve in South Africa. Our ranger described the Elephant's love for the berry while our tracker replenished my often-empty glass. Served straight over ice is best, in my opinion. Everyone here at home loves the creamy, slightly fruity flavor. No more Bailey’s for me! Thanks to African Traditions providing Amarula stateside, tasting the flavors of our beautiful time in South Africa can be done in our own back yard - minus the elephants unfortunately...
