Ditholo Safaris has obtained some of the finest hunting concessions thoughout South Africa and neighbouring countries, enabling clients to hunt anything from Dik-Dik to the much sought after Big 6. Safaris can be tailor-made to suit your individual criteria.

Situated in the Waterberge region near Nylstroom (Modimolle) is the closed conservation area Num-Num. This is where you will experience an unforgettable time.

It is a 2 hour drive from Johannesburg International airport and it is a malaria free area.

Ian Tolmay will be your professional hunter and with his years of experience he will guide you through your African safari.

We also have tours available to Mossel Bay, on the Garden Route, Kruger National Park, and to Botswana.

Ethical Hunting

We practice ethical hunting techniques at all times. The areas we hunt are all private game preserves, each with its own individual game management plan.

Through selective hunting these areas always produce good quality trophy animals.

Hunting Season

We conduct hunting safaris throughout the year, however we recommend the months of March to October. Each hunt is planned in detail to suit the personal requirements of the hunter and non hunting observers.

Transportation

You fly into Johannesburg International Airport, where outfitter will meet you and take you to your hunting destination in South Africa.

Hunting areas

Trophy Hunting Safaris conducts safaris in South Africa and Botswana. For hunting of small antelope we suggest a 7mm Magnum with a 160gr bullet, a 30-06 for larger antelope. For the "Big Five" the law requires at least a 375. Sixty cartridges should be sufficient. We offer handgun and bow hunting safaris. Our hunting areas are well equipped for that once in a lifetime shot.
